VOLUNTEER POSITION TITLE: Gardening
ABOUT THE DAVID FOSTER FOUNDATION:
The foundation has two mandates: to provide non-medical expenses to Canadian families whose children are undergoing organ transplantation and to educate the public in Canada and the United States about organ donor registration. The foundation strives for excellence in its day-to-day business dealings and is looking for someone who reflects that work ethic.
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to give back to the organ transplant community through the David Foster Foundation. If you would like to make a difference by maintaining Eleanor House's garden, named after David’s mother, then you are the person we are looking for! Eleanor House is the headquarters for the Foundation office.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Weekly weeding, pruning of small garden area (Strata takes care of cutting grass)
- recommendations on plantings etc.
